Chef Kevin was drawn to culinary school after moving and immersing himself in the vastly growing food and beverage scene of downtown Raleigh. After quickly being promoted & leveling up his chef game in some of Raleigh’s busiest kitchens Chef Kevin was offered his own kitchen as Executive Chef in a busy Las Vegas hotel.
After returning to Raleigh Chef Kevin, quickly began to leave his mark in the kitchen’s of Raleigh’s most prestigious hotels. It was during this time that he designed & oversaw the execution of menus for some of the country’s top professional & collegiate athletes, celebrities, & visiting global dignitaries.
Working in hotels with large banquet departments allowed Chef Kevin to master several genres of international comfort food including, Indian, Mediterranean, Lebanese, Italian, a variety of Asian & Hispanic cuisine, as well as polishing his skills in classic Americana dishes, Southern BBQ & Fine dining. Chef Kevin also grew his reputation in the public eye through committing time to several local nonprofits as well as competing and winning in multiple cooking competitions.
Chef Kevin gives credit to his passion for creating approachable & exciting dishes by saying:
“I enjoy wowing people with my food and leveling up nostalgic dishes from all cultures. I enjoy connecting with people via heart, mind, and stomach. Being a busy family man and chef I often find myself creating meals for my family on the fly. Children are the toughest critics and growing up with a chef dad my daughters have come to expect that they will love every meal."
